I'd only get to watch them for a few seconds, not knowing where they're headed or what happens later. But that's exactly where the magic is. Passing through the same route every day, the scenes unfolding beyond my vantage point are always brief and swiftly substituted by another; a steady montage of transient images paired with groggy eyes and a morning playlist.
