The COVID-19 pandemic is unlikely to vanish within a year or so. If the situation permits, economic and social activities should be allowed to return to normal on a wider scale. However, in many places in the world, there has been a rebound in cases after the relaxation of anti-pandemic measures. The Australian city of Melbourne even went into lockdown again yesterday.
