【明報專訊】EARLIER last week, the future production of Headliner, a popular satirical show produced and aired by RTHK since 1989, was suspended after being accused of denigrating and insulting the police by the Communications Authority. The spokesperson of the public broadcaster swiftly apologised to any police officers or others who had been offended, and announced a suspension of the show's production until a thorough review is completed. Such acts were met with suspicion and resistance from the RTHK staff union, as well as the public.
